Location
The Villas at Poco Diablo is located in Sedona approximately 120 miles from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The following directions are to the resort:
From Phoenix Airport
- Take I-17 North toward Flagstaff for approx. 100 miles.
- Take Exit 298 (State Route 179 – Sedona/Oak Creek).
- Turn left onto State Route 179 and proceed for approx. 14 miles.
- You will be going through 6 roundabouts, when you pass through the Chapel Road roundabout you will proceed 1/8th of a mile further.
- After 1/8th of a mile passed the Chapel Road roundabout turn left onto Oak Creek Cliffs drive (it will be the next left turn after Mile Post 311).
- Drive down Oak Creek Cliffs Drive for about 200 yards.
- At the bottom of the road you will see the Villas at Poco Diablo sign on your right, turn right onto this driveway and proceed into the resort.
- The office will be the building to your left as you enter the resort.

From Flagstaff
Once in Flagstaff take Interstate 17 Southbound. At this point you can choose to come down Interstate 17 or take State Route 89A. The Interstate is slightly longer distance (57 miles) but if you do not like mountain switchbacks this would be more for you. The drive down Oak Creek Canyon via State Route 89A (32 miles) is scenic and involves mountain switchbacks for those who enjoy this type of drive. Please avoid State Route 89A on busy holiday weekends as the traffic can be quite congested.
*Interstate 17 Directions:
- Take Interstate 17 southbound for approximately 40 miles to exit #298 – Sedona / Oak Creek Canyon
- Turn right onto State Route 179 and proceed approximately 13 miles; you will be going through 6 roundabouts.
- Once you pass the 6th roundabout (Chapel Road) you will proceed 1/8th of a mile and turn left onto Oak Creek Cliffs Drive (it will be the next left turn after Mile Post 311).
- Proceed down the driveway to the bottom and turn right at the Villas at Poco Diablo Resort sign. You will see the check in Clubhouse on your left adjacent to the pool.
*State Route 89A Directions:
- Take Interstate 17 southbound for approximately 5 miles to exit #311 – Sedona / Oak Creek Canyon.
- Turn right at the off ramp then turn immediately left on state route 89a; continue for about 30 miles to Sedona.
- Once in Sedona you will go through two traffic signals before coming to a roundabout; turn left at the first roundabout onto State Route 179.
- Proceed about two miles to Oak Creek Cliffs Drive (immediately after the Poco Diablo Resort entrance) and turn right.
- Proceed down the driveway to the bottom and turn right at the Villas at Poco Diablo Resort sign. You will see the check in Clubhouse on your left adjacent to the pool.
